The 2012 Tournament
On September 1st, the
Florida Youth Lacrosse
Foundation, Inc. will be accepting entry
forms for the 2012 Florida Lacrosse Classic.
Completed entry forms and the non-refundable
payment in full are required to reserve a
spot in the 2012 Classic. Each team will be
scheduled to play at least 3 games.
Depending on seeding and the total number of
teams in a bracket, teams may be scheduled
for 3, 4, 5 or 6 games during the 3 day
tournament.
The tournament will again host a Men’s
Grand Masters Division and a
Men's Half Century Division. Grand
Masters has an A (Warrior) and B (Brine)
tournament. We anticipate that Half
Century will also have A and B tournaments
in 2012. Teams in the A tournament of
each division will be competing for the
National Championship.
The Grand Masters is
restricted to teams whose players are
turning age
45
or over anytime during calendar year 2012.
The minimum age for the Half Century
Division has again been set to
include anyone turning at least
50
at anytime
during calendar year 2012. Hopefully this
will allow for an increase in the number of

All players must bring picture ID indicating
date of birth.
Last year's teams will be seeded by the
organizers based upon prior tournament
results while new entrants will be seeded
through a blind lottery system.
The tournament no longer requires a US
Lacrosse membership.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE AND FEE INFORMATION:
The Team Entry Fees for
participating in the 2012 Florida Lacrosse
Classic are as follows.
2012 Men's Grand Master
team entry fee $1,700
2012 Men's Half Century
team entry fee $1,200.
Men's Past Masters:

Registration
will be accepted as individuals or
as full teams.

Entry fees to
participate at this level will be
the minimum necessary to cover
direct expenses.

Team entry forms must be accompanied by a
minimum refundable deposit of $300, which is
due by October 15, 2011.
Final non-refundable payment is
due November 15, 2011. No
team will be officially confirmed as an
entrant until its non-refundable
payment-in-full has been received and
accepted by the Florida Youth Lacrosse
Foundation. Complete registration kits,
including tournament rules and schedule
information, will be published on this
website or will be made available by mail
upon request.
